Vitor Roque was full of joy after scoring his first goal on his debut for Real Betis.

19-year-old striker Vitor Roque enjoyed a goalless debut for Real Betis in Friday’s 2-0 win over Leganes, according to Diario Sport.

The Brazilian forward joined Real Betis from Barcelona on an initial one-year loan deal, with Chilean coach Manuel Luis Pellegrini handing Vitor Roque his debut for Betis as a substitute for Assane Diao in the 62nd minute, and the 19-year-old scored on his debut.

Vitor Roque scored his first goal since against Alaves on February 3 this year and the 19-year-old forward celebrated in full force by kissing the club badge, kneeling on the pitch and pointing to the sky and making his signature ‘tiger’ gesture after a difficult six or seven months at Barcelona.

‘I’m so happy. I never thought I would make my debut and score. I’m so happy,’ Vitor Roque said of the reception from the Betico fans. ‘The reception was amazing. Thank you to the fans and God. I’m so happy. It’s a dream come true.’

Pellegrini was also full of praise for Vitor Roque, saying: ‘He’s a powerful player and moves quickly into space. This goal is typical of a goal scorer, a great finisher and a great goal scorer always gets a second ball.’

‘He scored because he believed until the last second สมัคร ufabet. So I’m delighted for him because he played two games in Brazil with jet lag and time difference. So I think 30 minutes for him and Gio (Lo Celso) was more than enough.’
