Manchester United are preparing a £17million bid for Colombian midfielder Richard Rios, according to Rudy Galetti. The
Red Devils are ready to bolster their squad this summer. After a disappointing eighth-place Premier League finish last season, despite winning the FA Cup.
They have already signed Bologna striker Joshua Zirkzee and Lille centre-back Leni Yoro, while also agreeing personal terms with Manuel Ugarte and Matthijs de Ligt, but are still negotiating a fee with the player’s club. Midfield is a
top priority for United this summer and they are reportedly ready to offload Casemiro to help ease their wage bill, while the club have not exercised their option to buy Sofiane Amrabat. ยูฟ่าเบท Scott McTominay has been
linked with Fulham, Tottenham Hotspur and Galatasaray and could be tempted to leave should the Scotland international leave. It is likely that Manchester United will add more than one midfielder.
The latest report from Galetti is that Manchester United are preparing to offer £17m to sign Rios, a midfielder from Palmeiras who has impressed for the Colombian national team and was the runner-up at the 2024 Copa America.
AC Milan are also interested in Rios, but Palmeiras are reluctant to let their key player go.
Rios has made 82 appearances for Palmeiras, scoring 5 goals. He can play as a defensive midfielder, box-to-box midfielder, and can also play on the wing.
