I know this post title is very unoriginal but all the Audit stuff in my brain is killing my creative cells so you will just have to make do with it. I have actually lost a bit of motivation after reading Terry’s detailed post about our meet-up with Brenda last Saturday but since I’ve decided to blog more this year, I wrote a post about it. I take no credit for all the gorgeous photos of the food. I took the photos from Terry because mine turned out to be quite horrible. Perhaps I was too eager to start on the food and didn’t have the patience to take good photographs of them.

I didn’t tried the steak like the previous time because I didn’t want an overly cooked steak and to avoid chalking up the bill. We had the usual dose of mushrooms and Terry has carrots as well. Coincidentally, both Brenda and I aren’t a fan of vegetables.
I tried the Seabass fillet and I had to say they aren’t really up to my expectation. Even the brownies aren’t as great as the last time. It has almonds in it which taste weird when I’m having it with vanilla ice cream. Almonds and ice cream just doesn’t seem to go well together.

Happy Chinese New Year to those who celebrate the occasion! Besides that, I have to announce to the world that I love my Dad’s cooking so much. Sometimes, I wish I can have 10% of his cooking skills. He should write a cook book with all my favourite dishes in the future. Here’s what we had for our reunion dinner today:

It seems like time past extremely fast these few weeks. January speed by and now it’s going to be Chinese New Year soon! This also means that my final mocks are coming and I do not even have at least 50% progress in my revision. I always feel that having examinations right after the Chinese New Year is a terribly bad plan. We can’t even enjoy our new year without having to worry about the upcoming exams. I am determine to catch up on my studies over the next 2 weeks and enjoy a relaxing new year instead. “I shall worry about that later” is one of my undesirable tagline.
My check-list for the new year:
- Chinese New Year decorations – Check!
- Spring cleaning – Check!
- New clothes – Check!
- New Year goodies, snacks, chocolates, drinks and food – Check!
- Mahjong table – Check! We bought a new one after one of ours was stolen a few weeks back.
- Manicure nails – Check!
- Prepare my stomach to welcome all the delicious food and snacks – Check!
