I know this post title is very unoriginal but all the Audit stuff in my brain is killing my creative cells so you will just have to make do with it. I have actually lost a bit of motivation after reading Terry’s detailed post about our meet-up with Brenda last Saturday but since I’ve decided to blog more this year, I wrote a post about it. I take no credit for all the gorgeous photos of the food. I took the photos from Terry because mine turned out to be quite horrible. Perhaps I was too eager to start on the food and didn’t have the patience to take good photographs of them.

I didn’t tried the steak like the previous time because I didn’t want an overly cooked steak and to avoid chalking up the bill. We had the usual dose of mushrooms and Terry has carrots as well. Coincidentally, both Brenda and I aren’t a fan of vegetables.
I tried the Seabass fillet and I had to say they aren’t really up to my expectation. Even the brownies aren’t as great as the last time. It has almonds in it which taste weird when I’m having it with vanilla ice cream. Almonds and ice cream just doesn’t seem to go well together.

Shielding lotions
I was offered a chance to try Skin MD Natural Shielding Lotion last month. I think it is common knowledge that I am an avid fan of beauty products. Hence, I took up this opportunity to test a new product I have never tried before. Skin MD Natural has kindly offered to send me a bottle of their shielding lotion together with brochures and a few sachets of samples. The shielding lotion is multi-purpose and can be used on the face, hands and body. It also comes with sunscreen SPF 15 which I had purchased myself from local stores because I wanted to see how well both of them worked together.
According to Skin MD Natural, the shielding lotion works differently as compared to conventional moisturiser because it keeps moisture-robbing irritants away from the skin while the proprietary “super” humectants hydrate the skin throughout the day. This makes me even more eager to try out this lotion since I have a problem with dehydrated and oily skin ever since I am on the acne.org regimen 2 years ago.

I have been using these lotions for a month as facial moisturisers and this is how I feel about it:
Fragrance & Texture
Both lotions are fragrance free but I feel that it has a slight smell of sunscreen, even for the normal lotion without any SPF. The smell does not really bothers me since it is quite faint. Personally, I like it this way and prefer my skincare products without any added artificial fragrance due to my sensitive skin condition. The texture and consistency of the lotion with SPF is thicker than the normal lotion. I would prefer the texture of the normal lotion since it is much lighter and easier to apply.

Happy Chinese New Year to those who celebrate the occasion! Besides that, I have to announce to the world that I love my Dad’s cooking so much. Sometimes, I wish I can have 10% of his cooking skills. He should write a cook book with all my favourite dishes in the future. Here’s what we had for our reunion dinner today:
