Yesterday was our scholar’s1 21st birthday! Happy birthday my friend. As your official photographer of the day, here’s a photo collage for you.
I would have given you a tiara as a special gift to wear on your birthday had I found one. I should have borrowed Terry’s2. That would be so exciting.
As promised, this is part II of my photos from the Hong Kong & Macau trip last month. Looking at these photographs a month later, I have to say I miss going on holidays. Living in a small city for such a long time can be boring.

Sissy and I
I tweeted about my lack of sleep on the day of the trip. My flight to Hong Kong was 6.30am in the morning and I was supposed to wake up at 3am. However, I didn’t sleep the entire night at all. I’m still wide awake at 3am and switched off the alarm before it even rang.
Too excited? Maybe. I haven’t been going overseas for vacations for a long time.

At the airport
Look at my panda eyes in the photos. Sigh. I didn’t bother to bring any under-eye concealer on my trip as well. I went make-up-less and wore my trusty glasses during the entire trip.
I’m still not fond of wearing contacts for the entire day, plus I’m too lazy to put them on. We check-in at Changi Airport Terminal 1 at about 4am. It was pretty empty then and not much shops were open.
We had breakfast at Ya Kun only because there wasn’t a lot of choices. Breakfast was okay considering my lids were threatening to close. This is a bit random but seriously I hate travelling on planes. I feel like my heart is going to jump out of me when the plane is taking off.
The last time I took a plane was about 3 years back (to Macau)?
Anyway, please be forewarn that the rest of this post would be image intensive. Hope you enjoy the photographs!
