Happy Chinese New Year

Happy Chinese New Year

A very Happy Chinese New Year to everyone. I hope this new year would bring about everything good for everyone of us and wish that you’ll have lots of red packets for your shopping trips and such. :) Anyone saw the meta at the bottom of this post and realise that I’ve categorise this entry as Black Days too. That’s because I’m so unlucky to be down with a high fever of 38.6 Degrees Celsius, flu, sore throat and a very bad cough. I’m going to miss those new year goodies but nevertheless I went to “steal” some of those from the kitchen just now :p .

I’m going over to my grandma’s which is my uncle house at the next block later for lunch. I’ve to skip all the soft drinks and sweets  . It’s so unfair! Anyway, I feel that this year’s Chinese New Year was rather quiet, the atmosphere from the past seems to have gone. I just don’t have the enthusiasm which I had in the past. Does it happens to everyone that gets older or is it just me?

Because Chinese New Year is such a happy occasion. I released a new layout template for download. I think it’s simple and neat, basically it’s pure CSS and the layout does not uses any image at all. For those who like simplicity or have a limited domain space, feel free to throw me any comments or your hatred about that layout. I’m thinking of making it into a WordPress template, anyone second that?

Happy New Year

A great Happy New Year to everyone. Dayna hereby wish all of you a great 2006 ahead and may all your wishes, resolutions and dreams come true =) . I’ve uploaded some photos of the fireworks at the Esplanade, they were taken by my friend’s camera so it wasn’t that clear. The real thing was so much beautiful, no regrets watching it yesterday despite all the crowds. It was only 5 minutes?!? Everyone was cheering after that. Anyway, we went to the hawker again to eat, honestly the food there are very nice. I especially love the carrot cake and satay :kawaii: . At the end of the day, we took a night bus from Jurong East Interchange but the bus didn’t took the normal bus route. It scare the hell out of me, I thought I wouldn’t be able to get home  .

Right, so I was grounded. Literally grounded. I got home like 2.30AM yesterday and my Dad scold the hell out of me. All right, it was my fault  . I’m going to learn my lessons, never ever go out again pass 7 in the evening or I’ll get into hot soup. Dad hadn’t talk to me for the entire day :sigh: but it’s not the first time this happens so things is bound to get better soon. I didn’t do much today, spend some time redoing some content on the site which are pretty outdated.

So that’s about all, I’m messing with my PhotoShop, maybe a new layout will be put for download soon :D . So, one of my friend message me on MSN today, it was then that I realise the following week from January 02 was common test week and I’ve only one Microeconomics test thus no school for the week other than Thursday. Speaking (or rather writing) about the test, I am really nuts in Microeconomics. I can’t get the hang of all the graphs, there’s like more than 10 graphs for every single chapter. Although I was quite relieved to know that the test only consist of 10 multiple choice question, 10 true and false question and 3 short question question, but I have a feeling that the short answer questions won’t be that short. Most of the time, it would be question 1 and then part a, b, c, d, e, f. That happens in additional math, doesn’t it?
