Amour Chaleur

Tweet~ Do you love Twitter? I’ve seen many people integrating Twitter into their WordPress blogs recently. Missy has also just started using it. If you have noticed, the mini snippets has been replaced by mini tweets. Before I started using it, I have been thinking why almost everyone is using it. Now I know… I think it’s really fun updating it as and when I like. I can post about what I’m currently doing, the weather, small rants and just random stuff that wouldn’t be enough to fit into a single post. I can follow the updates and happenings of a friend through it as well. And it’s very addictive!

Does that sounds familiar? Anyway, I love to interact and make friends with new people. So if you are using it, feel free to add me as a friend. Oh and the little blur¹ (I mean blue, it was an honest mistake) bird to your left was drawn when yours truly was daydreaming in class. It was coloured in Photoshop though. Lazy me, I should get a new set of colour pencils soon! I converted a section of my portfolio for my random drawings as well.

I’ve drawn a rough sketch of the next layout of AmourChaleur (click on the thumbnail to view the full size). I have named the theme “Panda Land” . This is just a rough sketch of what I had in mind. The edges are kind of rough as well. I was actually trying to do a sketchy doodle. But I guess the idea didn’t work. I know the lollipop looks distorted and weird (still trying to redraw that) . It would take months (tentatively at around April to June which is still a long time away) to complete since I think I might recode the entire layout, but I’m in no hurry. Is anyone bored of the current layout already? I think the next one would have lesser colours, the current colour scheme I had in mind for the next layout is a combination of the following colours: pink, red, green, yellow, black, brown and white. What do you think?

My Bunny

I was tagged by Kaylee to draw a bunny for the Draw a Bunny! Meme. It doesn’t really look like a bunny but hey, it is a grey bunny with lopsided ears! My first time drawing a bunny and I can’t exactly remember how a bunny looks like. Is there a grey bunny in the first place? I’ve seen those in white and chocolate chips colours. Those with patches of different shades of brown, they look exactly like chocolate chips cookies. Regine suggested making him into an avatar for some spotlight so please welcome the lopsided grey bunny with his favourite carrots.

Let me share some interesting facts I know about bunnies:

Bunnies are kind and gentle creatures.
They are afraid of thunderstorms (the bunny I had last time was afraid) .
They’re really fluffy and cute.
They make good companions.
They can watch the television with you.
