You must have thought that I have successfully imported my b2 to WordPress, right? Wrong! The import failed and I am still in the process of fixing it. Anyway, this current one is a fresh start from a new database with no past entries. I am still thinking. It took me some time to fix up the comments page but it’s done now. The smilies have still not been added but I’ve used a few simple plugins like Spam Karma to get rid of those annoying comments, known as spam, from flooding my comments page, hope it works. And also an auto commenter plug, gravatar and a spell checker that works really well. So, any good plugins to suggest? I was thinking of the WP Grins for clickable smilies. I miss my smilies. I’m still in the process of linking my static (non WP pages) to the header, footer and style sheet in my WordPress folder. I hope that one would be a breeze.
Upgrading to WordPress was indeed not as simple as it looks. I have tried ways and means from various tutorial. By right, it should work. But I don’t know what went wrong. Lastly, many thanks to Jen for clearing my doubts about WordPress. Please inform me if there are any errors, hope not. Cross my fingers. After messing around with WordPress for the past few hours, I still didn’t get the hang of it but the content management system is great. I can’t get the archive and statistic to show up like my b2 ones. The system used on this one is so different.
Edit: Implemented clickable smilies in both my wordpress admin panel and the comments. Finally got both the statistics and the archive running. The links manager of wordpress is great. It makes managing links so much easier, now all the links are powered by wordpress and sorted neatly, even the joined fanlistings.

Thanks Tracy. I use a code snippets for the auto commenters plug. You can find this plugin here and the statistic script was found from the Codex. Hope this helps you.
