I am Dayna Ngai, a 22 year old Singapore-based blogger, freelance illustrator and a lover of web designing. More often than not, I have always mentioned Chewy in my blog entries. He is my partner; the guy whom I’ve been with for the past 5 years and many more years to come. Blogging is my passion and I blogged about anything under the sun such as my daily life, memories and the awesome festival seasons on the island. I also enjoy writing beauty reviews, my opinions towards the online community as well as various other topics. I am also a huge fan of animé.
My favourite pastimes are drawing cartoons and illustrations and designing websites. I started my first website and blog back in 2003. For the past 8 years, I came to realise that creativity and originality are two of the most significant parts of a site. Designing could be a hobby, interest or just a leisure activity but if we have put in effort, even if we did not get the best designs or have the most stunning site in the world, it is still something we could be proud of.
I have a strong interest in photography and since 2009, I have started pursuing my interest in it. I got my first point-and-shoot camera, Canon Powershot SX10 in June 2009. This was my first step in learning how to use a semi-professional camera. Photography is a pastime I can indulge in. It is something I enjoy doing and I believe capturing memories will make us remember who we are and how things have matured and changed over the years. Most of my photographs can be found on Flickr.
About Amour Chaleur
Amour Chaleur holds my blog, online portfolio and other resources. It means “Love & Warmth” in French. It is often said that French is a language of love, hence nearly all my websites’ name are in French. Amour Chaleur holds almost my entire history in the online community since 2004 and is my first domain. This website is like my second home. During the 6 months hiatus from the Internet in 2008, I feel like a part of me was missing when it wasn’t here. I miss blogging after my previous blog, Libertà hosted via a subdomain had expired. It was then I decided the time has come for me to continue doing something I have always love. Amour Chaleur was registered in December 2008 and is currently hosted by Holdfire.
